About Paper Profits Fund

I started in mortgages in 2007 as a loan officer. My first note investment was a $19,000 performing mortgage I bought through my self-directed IRA.

By 2012, I was acquiring defaulted junior mortgages from banks and credit unions, working with borrowers to settle debts and preserve homeownership.

Over the years, I've purchased, managed, and sold more than 1,000 mortgage notes.

I started the fund to give other investors access to this asset class without the steep learning curve. The fund is now closed to new investment and is winding down.
